Bringing the Magic to Ithaca
As I write this, another Wizarding Weekend is about to happen. Thousands of visitors will pour into the downtown, bringing attention, dollars and energy to the city — not to mention plenty of wands, charms and a sorting hat or two.
The idea for Wizarding Week was born when my wife, Darlynne, who owns Life’s So Sweet Chocolate on West Green Street, and some of the other storeowners in Press Bay Alley noticed that the place looked a lot like Diagon Alley from Harry Potter fame. They decided to celebrate this, the news went viral and the rest, as they say, is history.
This is a great example of the magic that happens around here when people come together and innovate.
We see this happening at Ehrhart Energy, too. True to our roots, we remain a family-owned propane company delivering comfort to thousands of homes and businesses in the Finger Lakes. But we are always looking for innovative ways to offer you better value and ensure your comfort.
That’s why we’ve expanded our offerings to include Bioheat®, a blend of traditional heating oil and renewable fuels that can burn more cleanly than natural gas. We also offer sophisticated pellet boilers that allow you to get away from fossil fuels entirely, as well as clean, powerful propane autogas.
Looking ahead, we will continue to bring you breakthrough energy options at a guaranteed fair price, from people you can trust. That sounds magical to me.
